We met at Big R in Cortez, Colorado where we both worked. Over the course of the months we had been working together, we began to develop a friendship. Neither of us thought it would be nothing more as we were both helping each other with our separate relationship issues. Safe to say those didn't work out. We started to develop more of an interest in each other after Tyson had thrown a New Years Eve party at his house. The days following the party, Tyson had invited me over everyday to watch movies. Nine days and many movies later, (Fun Fact: I don't like to watch movies often) we finally decided to make our relationship official. Two years later, I planned a trip to Glenwood Hot Springs to celebrate our anniversary. I bought a fancy dress, got my nails done, and even bought new makeup because I simply wanted to feel and look good, which worked out in my favor. After arriving in Glenwood, We took a walk downtown for dinner. We settled on Juicy Lucy's Steakhouse. I was definitely overdressed for the restaurant but that only gained just enough attention for the perfect proposal. The guests sitting next to us had asked what the special occasion was and created a really good flow of conversation. As the night was wrapping up, Tyson had asked then to take a picture of us. As he handed the phone off to the guest, he whispered in her ear that he was going to propose. She quickly switched the camera to video and got the entire proposal on video. The entire restaurant wooed and applauded like crazy, but I was too much in the moment, I didn't hear a thing other than "Will You Marry Me?"
